Olivia attended a Girl Scout camp this summer and took 1st place in the art competition for her age group. The camp theme was Native American Heritage and her painting was called "Firedance".Her Oklahoma heritage was shining through - her Grandparents have taken us to see many Native American sites over the years so she had no trouble envisioning her painting.
She worked on it for quite some time so it was great to be rewarded with a big blue ribbon! The camp was so much fun, the Girl Scouts know what they are doing!
