Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving!!

It's been quite a few years since our table was set for 4!

Our 15lb turkey was hard to dent, when dinner was over it didn't look like we had touched it!

That's good news in my book, NOTHING beats leftover turkey sandwiches, and it looks like we will be having them all week.

We were thankful for a few days off together, and for the health and happiness of our family and friends!

Now ready, set.....GO
Christmas is in 26 days!!!!

New Look!!

If you are one of the many who has "complained" about the outdated photos of the girls on my blog header as of late, this look is for you!  It's still sort of a work in progress but lately that means I'll get to it in a year or so.

To the rest of you who hate change and enjoyed the images of my little babies, time marches on folks but you can head to the photo archives!

Other than a blogover - here is what we've been up to as of late.

We are happy to report the pool has been re-opened!  Honestly I lost track of how long it was closed (almost a year maybe) but if the government runs out of money you have us to thank.

Fall Festival time again!  This is the only shot I took that night as I was selling the 500 bags of cotton candy I had spent the morning making.  Happy to report we sold them all and the PTA is operating in the black.  Hmmm, perhaps our government should invest in a few cotton candy machines.  Never underestimate the power of pure sugar!

Olivia's hula class performed in a dance show last week.  It made for some crazy scheduling and driving days, but she had a great week and a great performance.

We have been running like mad as of late, and are all looking forward to a very quiet Thanksgiving this year.

Happy Halloween!

 Got Boo'd?

 We did!

We also had a party in the hood...complete with halloween treats

And then of course, the big night itself...

Meet Vanellope Von Schweetz.  The cool girl from the new movie Wreck it Ralph.  Inspiration photo...

Real deal!

Right down to the candy in the hair and the twizzler strings.

When you turn 12 you become a little too cool for school, then you turn (almost)15 and you realize you are just regular cool and you really like candy.

Olivia joined in on the fun this year but was slightly discerning about the candy - just the "good" ones for her.  Emily however, was all about quantity.

Mission accomplished!

Happy Halloween!!
