Hard to believe that our summer is over! Seems like only a few weeks ago Em was having her tonsils out and we flew to PA for a visit. Oh that's right, it was just a few weeks ago!
We sent it out with a bang with one more set of visitors. This group of kiddo's were all together in Japan when Liv was 7 and Em was a baby! They have all grown up so fast.

Emily was excited to start today as a big first grader! She had no anxiety at all and ran to meet her teacher and friends.
Can't say Liv was excited per say, but I can tell you it's a dream to be returning to a familiar place instead of starting over. Hard to believe she is in 7th grade!
Although we stayed put for a change about 13 families left the neighborhood this summer which was very hard. We all lost some really great friends and are trying to adjust. School and routine are a good distraction and I'm sure as the hood fills back up we'll have new friends in no time.
